I’ve read about people using blenders as choppers, and I know most things like this come with multiple blades…
BUT
can my electric food chopper be used as a single or 2 person serve blender?
I get salad at a local salad place where you go in and choose your ingredients and then they put all the ingrediants you chose for your salad including the type of lettuce into a chopping machine. What comes out is yummy chopped evenly mixed ingrediants in a matter of seconds.
So I tried doing this in my food processor and no matter how little I tried pulsing it- it cut the pieces of my salad way too little- almost to a salsa. Especially the leaves of lettuce.
What kind of chopper do you think these guys use. I’d really like to get one. I would totally eat more salads if all I had to do to make one was dump all the ingrediants in a machine at once and it spit out a nicely chopped salad.

I’m turning 30, I have a 2 year old, and a 3 month old who is breastfeeding still… But as this is the first milestone birthday party of adult life, I want to approach it a bit differently to previous big birthdays like the 21st. Something that includes my kids, friends, food, and classic drinks, and mocktales. I dont want to have it at home because it means I have to prep and clean, and I dont want it to be in a place I cant bring my kiddies. any ideas?
There will be 6 of us. Most of the cooking will be done on a gas grill, but I will be at my cabin which also has pretty much a full kitchen including a fridge. We’ll be on the river partying all day so I really want something I could prep in the a.m then just throw on grill at night. We will be there for 5 days so I need more than just hamburgers and hot dogs. Thanks. All ideas welcome =)
I’m having a party in a week, and I need some vegetarian food that will not only look pretty but also taste very good! (Most of my friends are omnivores, and they think all we eat is tofu. I so need to prove them WRONG! Cuz personally, I rarely eat tofu, but that’s not cause it’s not good, I just don’t like cooking it, lol)
SO! Appetizers preferably, but some small entrees and snacks, too! (Finger food is great!)
ANYWAY, if it could be under an hour prep time that would be great, I’ll have to cook all this myself.
