Can you boil pork chops in a ziploc bag?

I have watched those infomercials about how you can use a food saver and then just boil the food in the new package. Can you use a ziploc to do that or will it melt and be disgusting?

    No, man, zip locks melt, just try microwaving one and you will see. Boiling bags are made from differant, more heat resistant material. Sorry.

    no!!! use coocky bags, it is exactly for this purpose.Ziploc are just for keeping food in the fridge or in the freeze.coocky bags is the name in my country Israel find up the equivalent for cooking bags in yours.
