My nephew is turning 3. What kind of cake should I bake him?
I’m going to my aunt’s house for the weekend to help her prep food for her son’s birthday.I have fun food ideas so the birthday boy and his friends can enjoy but still stuck on the cake. I leave tomorrow but I wanted to take along with me a specially made cake for him…i’d much rather something not so plain and usual. Any ideas as to what kind I should bake? I’ll be making it later today..
Thanks in advance!

A Chocolate Cake, with Chocolate Icing, And chocolate Sprinkles… Etc.
He Will LOVE It
CUPCAKES!! They are the perfect size for little hands! No leftovers! You can vary the frostings for all of their tastes. Grown-ups love cupcakes too!
You can put the cupcakes together on a plate in different shapes (pushed together so the frosting touches).

truthfully ?
i would make a ton of cupcakes, and white and chocolate frosting and several of those tubes of frosting in colors and sprinkles and such.

put the kids someplace that can be hosed down to clean it, and let them decorate the cupcakes. give prizes for prettiest, scariest, tallest – stuff like that.
he is only 3 – he probably won’t remember the world’s most special cake, but he will remeber the fun of decorating with his friends for a long time.
and anyway, if kids can’t get messy, and make a mess when they are 3 – when can they.
( make a BEAUTIFUL small cake for the adults.)
Make a picture with cupcakes, get a picture of him transferred onto a sheet cake, spell out his name using cup cakes, have a cake with his favorite character on it,
